The Secret Service says it does not keep records on who President Biden meets at his residences in Delaware, which he frequently visits during weekends and holidays.

During his inaugural year in office, the president spent about one-quarter of his time at his residences in suburban Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach, during which time he took personal time and conducted official business.

The Secret Service, according to a New York Post report, kept no record of the president's official or unofficial visitors.

The admission from the Secret Service came in response to a Freedom of Information Act request from the news outlet.

Obtaining records of official presidential meetings that take place outside of Washington, D.C., was also an issue during the Trump administration, according to Watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

The liberal-leaning group told the Post it was difficult to obtain records of Trump's meetings at Mar-a-Lago because they were kept by the Trump Organization, not the Secret Service.

Crew spokesperson Jordan Libowitz indicated to the Post that the group is not particularly concerned about the way Biden spends his time in Delaware.

"I have not seen any reporting that there is a ton of official business and outside meetings being done when Biden goes to his personal residence in Delaware for the weekend, mainly just going to church," he said. "If he were meeting with foreign heads of state at his house in Delaware, that would obviously be a different matter, though."
